Monica Possa was born on 18th October 1964. In 1989, she obtained a degree is Social and Economic disciplines from Bocconi University in Milan.
She has been the Human Resources and Group Organisation Manager for RCS MediaGroup since September 2004.
An economist, she launched her professional career at Bocconi University where, from 1989 to 1990, she was an assistant and researcher at the Centre for Research on Company Internationalisation Processes.
From 1990 to 1993, she worked for Germini Consulting (Management Consulting firm), where, as a Senior Analyst, she was responsible for the development of Business Process Reengineering projects in Southern Europe.
Between 1994 and 1998, after having obtained an MBA, she moved to the Boston Consulting Group in Milan, where she managed large-scale projects of an organisational-strategic kind for clients in the consumer goods sector. She was also BCG’s Italian Recruitment Director and member of its European Recruitment Team.
In 1999, she joined Omnitel (later Vodafone) as head of Organisation, where she covered different roles including Italian Resource Manager, Human Resources Manager for Southern Europe and finally Human Resources Manager for SEMEA (Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa).
In 2002, she became a Trustee of the Vodafone Group Foundation (UK) and received the “Golden Apple” award for Best Manager from the Bellisario Foundation.
