Cesare Maccari was born in Siena on 10th December 1964.
After obtaining a degree in Law from the University of Siena, he began to work in the family business, Maccari Marmi, where he remained the Organisational Head of Production and Head of Commercial Relations (for Italy and abroad) until 1992.
In 1993, he entered the TNT Global Express Group, in which he came to occupy increasingly senior positions in the Human Resources Area.
In June 2000, he joined Prada as the Head of Human Resources for the Logistics Division and consequently expanded his purview to cover all four of the Group’s industrial divisions.
In 2007, after a brief period in Comau (part of the Fiat Group), he was called to Ferrari where he became the Head of Global Brand and Gran Turismo Personnel, where he implemented a system of leadership and performance assessment.
He has been part of Wolters Kluwer Italia as Human Resources Manager since March 2009. His task is to manage and create projects with a high value added factor for employees, implementing – in tight synergy with the parent company – modern strategies that give increasing significance to human (as well as professional) qualities, to Diversity promotion and to Corporate Social Responsibility.
